EREBU suspension is given to children as a pain reliever for relief of mild to moderate muscular pain, headache, earache, sore throat, dental pain and backache. This medicine can also be used in minor injuries such as sprains and strains. It also reduces temperature in fever (e.g. post-immunisation fever), as well as other symptoms of cold and influenza

EREBU Suspension (Ibuprofen Oral Suspension BP 400 mg) is a pediatric pain reliever and fever reducer. It is commonly used to treat mild to moderate pain in children, including muscle aches, headaches, earaches, sore throats, dental pain, and backaches. It also provides relief from discomfort caused by minor injuries such as sprains and strains.

In addition to pain relief, EREBU Suspension effectively reduces fever, including fever following vaccinations (post-immunisation) and fever due to colds and flu. Its liquid form makes it easy to administer to children.

Possible side effects may include stomach irritation, nausea, or mild allergic reactions. Always use under medical guidance and follow the recommended dosage.


COMPOSITION

Each 5ml contains:

Ibuprofen BP …….100 mg

Flavoured syrup base……...  q.s

        Colour: Approved colours used

Oral

As directed by the physician

SIDE EFFECT

·        Skin rashes, increased sensitivity to light

·        Swelling of the face and tongue, inflammation of the blood vessels

·        Fever or shock





PRECAUTION

There is a risk of renal (kidney) impairment in dehydrated children.

You should discuss your child’s treatment with your doctor or pharmacist before giving Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension if your child:

• Has high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems

• Has asthma or diabetes

• Has lupus or mixed connective tissue disease

• Has a chronic inflammatory intestinal disease such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease or

   gastrointestinal bleeding

• Has chicken pox
